Mitch has had an extraordinary and unique career trajectory in music spanning over 20 years, starting at the tender age of 9 years old. He began by performing in pubs and clubs all around the midlands and appearing on national television on "Stars In Their Eyes Kids" in 2004 as Kurt Cobain at the age of 10. His journey in music lead him to perform over 500 shows before the age of 15, place as a quarter finalist on BBC1's "The Voice UK" in 2013 and front the bands Toxic Federation (2008 - 2011), MisterNothing (2012 - 2015) and The Treatment (2015 - 2017). During this time, he featured on the following official releases: - Toxic Federation: Behind The Mask (2009) / As One (2010) / Distance (2011) - MisterNothing: All My Favourite Bands Are Dead (2014) / From The Black And Blue EP (2014) - The Treatment: Generation Me (2016) From 2017 onward in his early 20's, Mitch began work as a live performer and a session musician, recording and working with a variety of bands and artists, including working on the BBC 1 show Strictly Come Dancing as a live singer and sharing the stage with legendary acts such as Nile Rodgers. In October 2019, Mitch released his first solo album under his own name "Vertigo At History's Edge", which he recorded, produced, mixed and released entirely himself. In 2024, Mitch began touring internationally as a singer / multi-instrumentalist with the acclaimed Rambert dance show "Peaky Blinders: The Redemption Of Thomas Shelby", followed by joining The Rock Orchestra as a lead vocalist for their worldwide 2025 tour. He appeared on rock legend Don Airey (of Deep Purple)'s latest record "Pushed To The Edge" released by EarMusic in March 2025, providing lyrics and lead vocals on the tracks "Moon Rising", "Power Of Change" and "Edge Of Reality". In autumn of 2025, Mitch performed on tour with The Rock Orchestra as part of their Arena Of Fire shows. He also lended his vocals to "Paint It Black" alongside cellist Tina Guo which appeared on their debut album "Classics Vol.1", charting at Number 1 in the official UK Rock & Metal Charts in November 2025. In November 2025, Emms also took part in a Guinness World Record attempt in India, representing the UK in the One World One Family Orchestra, breaking the record for most nationalities as part of a choral symphony.
